The Team

At Meadowside & St. Francis, residents are supported by a multidisciplinary team — nurses, care staff and the wider home team — working together to keep care consistent and daily routines reassuring. We combine strong clinical practice with genuine compassion, taking time to know each resident as an individual. This joined-up approach supports quality of life day to day — from comfort and personal routines to mealtimes, activities and wellbeing. We also work closely with local services, including GPs, pharmacies and community partners, to support residents’ health and wellbeing.

Interim Manager

Marta

Marta began an exciting new chapter in December 2025 at Meadowside & St. Francis, currently serving as the Interim Manager, guiding service through a positive cultural shift and a renewed focus on quality, compassion, and stability.

With over 20 years of experience in social care, Marta has built a career rooted in frontline work, starting as a support worker and progressing through a variety of roles. These early years shaped her values and deepened her commitment to person-centred care, which continues to influence her leadership approach today.

Prior to this role, Marta spent five years developing and managing a small group of nursing homes in Devon. Much of her work involved stepping into homes requiring support, acting as a troubleshooter and turnaround specialist to help services achieve and maintain strong CQC outcomes. She is passionate about creating environments where staff feel supported, residents feel safe and valued, and families feel confident in the care their loved ones receive.

We are passionate about fostering a warm, safe, and welcoming environment where residents feel comfortable, valued, and truly at home.
